Zones and rings in wound healing

چکیده
Viral assembly was thought to occur only in the cell body, with subsequent transport of fully assembled virions to axon terminals for release. Indeed, a pseudorabies virus mutant for Us9 appeared to be defective only in the second step, as it still makes infectious viral particles in the cell body but is defective for viral shedding from axons. But Tomishima and Enquist find that in the Us9 mutant some of the viral capsids are transported into the axon, leaving the viral membrane proteins behind in the cell body. Us9 has motifs suggesting that it could interact with a neuron-specific adaptor, thus creating an axonal transport vesicle for viral membrane proteins. Segregating viral membrane proteins from viral capsids during axonal transport may Only cells with Us9 (top) get viral membrane proteins into axons.

The role of calcium channel blockers in wound healing
Wound healing is a natural response to restore the injured tissue to normal. Wound healing is also complicated process involving different cellular, molecular and biochemical mechanisms and various types of cytokines and growth factors. Calcium channel blockers belong to cardiovascular medicine and administrated to treatment of hypertension, angina and cardiac arrhythmia because of vasodilatory...

In the present investigation, methanolic extract of Mimusops elengi leaves were evaluated for wound healing activity. Entire wound healing process is complex series of events that begins at the moment of injury and can continue for months to years. Methanolic extract of Mimusops elengi leaves were examined for wound healing activity in the form of ointment by the excision, the incision and ...

Objective(s): Chitosan based composite fine fibers were successfully produced via a centrifugal spinning technology. This study evaluates the ability of the composites to function as scaffolds for cell growth while maintaining an antibacterial activity. Materials and methods: Two sets of chitosan fiber composites were prepared, one filled with anti-microbial silver nanoparticles and another on...
متن کاملEvaluation of the relationship between serum levels of insulin, cortisol and growth hormones and wound healing in normal and diabetic rats
Introduction: Several factors such as diseases, medications and humoral agents can delay or speed up wound healing process. Because of the limited information about the hormonal changes during wound healing, in this study the relationship between serum levels of growth hormone, insulin and cortisol and wound healing in normal and diabetic rats was evaluated. Methods: Male Wistar rats )weigh...
